April 1, 2020—El Rancho De La Vida is pleased to announce that we are now open and accepting new residents at our new recovery residence, the Andersson Ranch located in Fairfield.
What is a recovery residence?
A recovery residence is a "sober, safe, and healthy living environment that promotes recovery from alcohol and other drug use and associated problems." Recovery residences offer peer-to-peer recovery support aimed at promoting long-term recovery. (Source: NARR)
What makes El Rancho different?
Located on the beautiful Good Will-Hinckley campus, the "Andersson Ranch" offers a secluded, wooded, serene environment to help individuals rediscover themselves. We offer a variety of activities and peer-led nonclinical therapies and a 24-hour a day live-in peer support navigator. Occupational and educational enrichment opportunities are available on-campus. We also provide financial assistance to any individual who cannot afford the full cost of their monthly rent.
In addition to these things, El Rancho's long-term vision includes soon offering in-house outpatient clinical services, medication-assisted treatment (MAT), intensive outpatient programming (IOP), and eventually a residential treatment program and a detox program—all located within walking distance on the same campus.
We look forward to starting a recovery journey with you.
